Water is life
Venture into a lush forest, with beams of light filtering through the leaves of the trees; listen to the rustling of your footsteps as you feel the cool breeze that caresses your skin. You are in the mountains, but you can feel the sea; you are in one region, but at the border with another; you reach the spring, well protected from prying eyes. Taste the history and purity of the water. Discover not just one, but four springs, and from them the water that is called Vallechiara.
The forest is found in the province of Savona, an area full of beeches and chestnuts, which stretches for 60 hectares, surrounded by the peace and quiet of unspoiled nature. Vallechiara mineral water is collected immediately at the source to preserve the qualities and purity that make it so unique. Its purity is ensured through continuous microbiological testing conducted in full compliance with standards by the Ministry of Health, at the springs, the mixture, the storage tanks, bottling and when it leaves the facilities.
With its low TDS (just at 28.5 mg/l), Vallechiara mineral water helps naturally flush the body of toxins and is especially suitable for those who follow a light and balanced diet. Its extraordinary qualities make it perfect for the preparation of food and drink for infants, as recognised by the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs. Its low sodium content (only 3.1 mg/l) makes it ideal for those suffering from hypertension.
And its exceptionally pleasant taste brings out the best in Mediterranean cuisine and its most refined dishes. It is no wonder that Vallechiara mineral water is chosen by the most renowned restaurants in the regions that it unites, Piedmont and Liguria. It can be found in still, lightly sparkling and sparkling varieties on the tables of Piazza Duomo in Alba, where chef Enrico Crippa matches it with his extraordinary dishes.
Vallechiara mineral water: an idea become reality.

Bottled water, a conscious choice
We often hear that tap water has qualities that are equal, if not superior, to those of bottled mineral water. This is far from the truth and we would like to discredit this popular belief.
Where does our water come from?
Microbiologically pure mineral water flows out from high altitude springs and is bottled at the source to preserve its qualities. Microbiological testing is carried out to verify that the purity of the water is maintained even after bottling. Tap water, on the other hand, originates from surface aquifers, wells, lakes and rivers and must be disinfected with chlorine before reaching the tap at home or public sources in cities or countries. Despite the high concentrations of metal in it, it often continues to be distributed, due to exceptions granted by the Ministry of Health, without the public being informed.
At this point we have only one question: Would you rather drink pure water, or water that has been “treated” for its impurities? |
